Here is your COMPLETE 2017 #CRDetroit Report! Please feel free to use and share this report on FB and with your churches!!

CityReach was hosted by International Missionary Baptist Church in Warren, Michigan which is in the Detroit Metro area! Pastor Jerry Jorolan and his family along with Student Pastor Ryan Champion did a fantastic job hosting us this year! We were honored to work with them!

There were 220 CityReachers that stayed at beautiful Oakland University, in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We were also blessed with the most incredible weather that we could ask for! God was very good to us 👍

We had 8 Ministry Teams working simultaneously all over Warren, Michigan and at times were working near the famous 8mile area! We saw several professions of faith including a Hindu woman that turned to Christ on our last day of ministry! ❤️

Here is a break down of what we saw happen in each of our ministry teams

Totally Free Car Wash
444 cars washed!!!
-Countless quality gospel centered conversations.
-prayed with people of all nationalities.
-We saw many connections from people who had impact from other CityReach teams!

Bless/Blitz
CityReach Detroit BLESS/BLITZ Team knocked on 3,518 doors, talked with 800 people, prayed in 268 homes and shared the gospel hundreds of times! They also distributed a total of 7500 doorhangers across the city! To end the week God allowed us to see a Hindu Woman turn to Christ for Salvation!

Construction
Sanctuary remodel, computer upgrades for media equipment, fences built, siding on a storage building, flower bed cleaning/mulching, etc...

Special Ops - Random Acts Of Kindness
They distributed balloons at the Hospital, gave away Tim Hortons Gift cards, made signs for cafeteria workers, made verses for CRers, took lunches to all the CRers, cleaned windows and awnings at the Champions, shared the gospel at car wash and many other places! They also had a drive thru prayer on a busy street corner

X Camps Jr.
Averaged 25, 3-6 year olds this week at International Baptist Church. City Reachers did a great job building one on one relationships. And each child that attended xcamps Jr. received a Jesus Storybook Bible with a personal note from their mentor. We received great feedback from the parents through out the week. Many even said that their children were going home saying "Jesus brings peace" and that they talked with their parents about what they learned. One parent said that she would have paid for this kind of camp. She hadn't seen anything like it in this area before and she was so grateful for xcamps jr and International Baptist church.

XCamps creative and active had 107 participants during the week!
Relationships were built with these young people and connections made with their families! All 107 of these campers heard a clear and effective communication of the gospel

CityReachers and churches attending also gave an offering of $2900 to the staff of International Missionary Baptist Church! We praise God that we were allowed to shine the Light of Jesus Christ in such a diverse and multicultural city! Please pray for CityReach Olympia, Washington which will happen at the end of July! We thank God for you all!!!
